How to make a kids club visible on the app front page

Overview

Once you have created and configured your kids club in the CMS, the next step is to make it visible on the guest app front page. This ensures that families can easily discover the service, view its details, and register their children.

This article explains how to display your kids club on the app’s front page using the customization options available in the CMS.

Before getting started

Before making your kids club visible on the app front page, make sure you:

  • Have fully set up the kids club under Content > Leisure > Kids clubs.
  • Have uploaded all key content (images, description, registration form, etc.).
  • Have access to My app > (Select your app) > Customize your app > Edit my app.

Important: If your app already includes a section on the front page linked to all Leisure > Kids clubs content, any new kids club you create will appear automatically. You only need to add it manually if you want to highlight it with a banner, shortcut, or other specific widget.

Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Access app customization settings

  1. Go to My app in the CMS.
  2. Select the correct app (if managing more than one).
  3. Click Customize app and then Edit app.

Step 2: Make the kids club visible in the app

You can add your kids club to the guest app in one or both of the following ways:

Option 1: Add a link to the kids club in the side menu
  1. In Edit app, go to the Side menu section. The side menu shows shortcuts to all sections of your app organizing the contents by categories that you can define.
  2. Activate the Show side menu toggle button to enable the menu in the app.
  3. Customize the logo, background color and text color.
  4. Click Add group to create a menu category (e.g., “Children activities”).
  5. Click Add section and configure:
    • Content source (Hotel, Corporate, or URL)
    • Content item (specific kids club, a list, or a content group)
    • Title to display in the menu
  6. Click Save changes

Guests will now see a direct link to the kids club in the app’s side menu.

Extra tips for organizing your kids club content

Use categories to group kids clubs

Categories (accessible via CMS > Leisure > Kids club) help you group kids clubs by type, location, or age range. This allows you to link to specific categories via widgets or the side menu to improve navigation and make it easier for guests to find what they’re looking for. Learn more in this article.

Combine services using content groups

Content groups (accessible via CMS > Other > Content groups) let you display multiple services in one section (e.g., kids clubs, sports, and activities calendar). Instead of listing each service separately, you can organize them under one unified category to enhance the guest experience. You can then link this group from the front page or side menu.

Create custom views with landing pages

Landing pages (accessible via CMS > Other > Landing pages) allow you to bring together various family-friendly services, including kids clubs, on a single, fully customizable page. You can personalize the layout, design, and structure to better reflect your brand.

Once created, a landing page can be linked directly from the app front page or the side menu, offering guests a more engaging and unified browsing experience.

Next steps

After making your kids club visible in the app, consider:

  • Reviewing registrations from the Kids club dashboard under Activity > Kids club. See article How to manage a kids club’s activity [link].
  • Encourage families to discover your kids club by placing QR codes and custom links in visible locations. Learn more here.
  • Using Insights to analyze guest behavior. Go to Insights > Analytics > Behaviour > Frontpage usage to view data on how guests interact with your app’s front page. You’ll find metrics such as total sessions, number of clicks per element, and the percentage of users who clicked on each section.
