How to set up the PRO system for a service

Overview

The PRO system provides an advanced configuration framework for managing complex service bookings and orders. It enables precise control over operational parameters, including availability schedules, capacity quotas, service durations, physical unit layouts, and custom delivery points.

This system replaces manual processes with a centralized workflow. hotel staff can track, process, and update the status of bookings and orders in real time using the CMS or the staff app.

The PRO system allows for significantly more customization than other systems (on-demand, quota-based, external, or integrated). Here are some examples by feature:

  • Restaurants: Set up F&B operations by defining different dining zones (such as outdoor terraces, indoor rooms, or buffet areas), arranging floor plans with different table layouts, and managing specific operating shifts.
  • Spa: Set up spa operations by defining treatment rooms (cabins) and treatments, establishing staff schedules, and managing capacity-limited thermal circuits or appointment slots.
  • Room service: Set up room service operations by defining alternative delivery locations (such as the lobby or pool area), organizing menu options, and scheduling specific service shifts.

As it is a more complex system, please check out the following articles according to the feature being used:

Note: PRO booking systems have different setting modes depending on the intended use of the feature:

  • Book: Guests reserve a space (e.g., a table in a restaurant or an appointment in the spa). Service units are booked (e.g., tables at a restaurant) and are processed based on a custom set of advanced rules.
  • Order mode: Guests place orders (e.g., a room service order). Products are ordered to be delivered and are processed based on a custom set of advanced rules.
  • Appointments: Products are booked from a catalog (e.g., a massage at the spa facilities) and are processed based on a custom set of advanced rules.
  • Activities: Slots in activities are booked from a calendar (e.g., a slot for a yoga class) and are processed based on a custom set of advanced rules.

Depending on the feature, specific book modes will be available. Detailed information regarding these setting modes and each feature can be found in the specific articles listed above.
