How to set up the external booking system for a service
Overview
The external booking system allows redirecting guests to a third-party reservation platform when tapping the "Book" button in the app. This setup is useful if reservations are already managed using an external service provider.
Depending on the feature being configured, the external booking system can link to various external platforms:
- Restaurants and room service: External restaurant table booking engines or online ordering platforms.
- Spa and wellness: Third-party spa appointment or wellness booking tools.
- Sports: External court scheduling systems.
- Balinese beds: beach club reservation tools.
- Tours and attractions: Third-party tour ticketing systems or external activity booking providers.
- Other facilities and services: External rental platforms, golf course booking systems, or partner service links.
Note: Since bookings are handled outside STAY, transaction data for these reservations will not be available in the CMS.
This article explains how to configure the external booking system for a service in STAY.
