How to unlink a template from the app home page
Overview
Unlinking a template removes the corporate structure, design and editing restrictions from a property's guest app home page. Once unlinked, the home page retains the last published content but becomes editable for the property, and it will no longer receive automatic updates from the corporate template.
Before getting started
Before unlinking a template, ensure you have the following:
- Have a corporate user to perform this action.
- Have access to Settings > Corporate > Brand control > Home pages.
Step-by-step guide
Step 1: Go to Brand control
- Go to My app, select the app, and click the Edit app button.
- Look for the top banner that indicates a template is being used.
- Click the button labeled Go to Brand control on the banner to navigate to the template management area for that property. You can also access the Brand control section: Go to Settings > Corporate > Brand control > Home pages.
Step 2: Unlink the template from the home page
- Inside the Home pages section, find the hotel you want to unlink a template from in the list.
- In the Actions column for that property, click the Unlink template icon.
Note: If you go back to the app’s editing screen (My app > Edit app), you will see that all general settings and widgets can now be modified. The previous editing restrictions applied by the template are no longer active.
Next steps
Once the template is unlinked:
