Overview
The Upsell feature allows you to highlight a service or promotion by displaying a pop-up message when guests open that section in the app. It’s a quick and effective way to boost visibility and drive engagement with key services.
This article explains how to create and configure an upsell pop-up in just a few steps.
Before getting started
Before using the Upsell feature, make sure you:
- Have created the service you want to promote under Content (e.g., a restaurant, spa or activity).
- Have access to the Upsell tab for that service.
- Have prepared an image and short promotional message.
Step-by-step guide
Step 1: Access the Upsell settings
- Go to Content > section (e.g., Facilities > Restaurant for a restaurant).
- Select the service you want to promote.
- Click Edit.
- Navigate to the Upsell tab.
Step 2: Enable the Upsell pop-up
- Activate the Activated switch at the top of the screen.
- Once activated, guests will see the pop-up each time they open this service in the app.
Step 3: Add promotional content
Fill in the fields to create your pop-up:
- Image: Upload an image that visually represents the service or promotion. Recommended format: JPG or PNG.
- Title: Write a short, attention-grabbing headline (e.g., “2x1 Burgers on Fridays”).
- Subtitle (optional): Add a brief sentence to support your message.
- More details (optional): Provide additional information if needed.
You can add translations for each field by clicking the flag icon next to each text box.
Step 4: Save and preview
Click Save changes to activate your upsell pop-up.
The next time a guest opens the service in the app, the pop-up will appear automatically with the content you’ve defined.
